One of the best things about pavers is how low-maintenance they are. A little routine care keeps them looking new for decades.
Routine cleaning
Sweep regularly and rinse with a hose. For deeper cleaning, use a mild detergent and a stiff brush. A pressure washer works but keep it on a low setting and avoid blasting joint sand out.
Weeds & joints
Weeds in joints usually mean the polymeric sand has worn down. Re-sweep fresh polymeric sand into the joints, mist to activate, and weeds have nothing to root in.
Stains
Treat oil and organic stains promptly with a paver-safe cleaner. Because pavers are individual units, a badly stained one can simply be replaced — a luxury concrete doesn't offer.
Sealing
Sealing is optional but enhances color and adds stain resistance. Most pavers can be sealed every 3–5 years. We can seal your project at install or advise on DIY.
